I know nothing new has come out in a while, But I have been working on some awesome ideas. I am feverishly working to get a new shirt out to you, and I can’t wait for you to see the details I have worked into them.
So after hearing so much about Boston, we decided to make a trip out there and check it out. We loved it. Everyone was friendly, the city was clean, and we had such a great time out on the town. We loved it so much, we may even decide to move there…
Where everybody knows your name! We didn’t get to go in though. Apparently some bars aren’t open before 10 am!
Finally made it over to Johnny’s bakery! If you know anything about independent clothing companies, this guy is at the top of the list. What was even a bigger surprise was that he was there working. So I got to both check out his amazing shop, and talk to him about everything and nothing.
We had to go and represent the O’s while they played at Fenway. 17 innings was just way to long though.
Holy cannoli! The line is completely worth the wait as it stretched out into the street and into the next block. Their deserts are delicious.
Hey Everyone. It has been too far in-between postings, so I just wanted to make a post about some things going on. I just ordered a new shirt, and it should be here soon. I also have some new pins, and I will work on adding them to the store so you may buy some LabCandy pins. If you have been following our outer social media, we recently opened a pinterest account. We also opened up a tumblr account, which I have been recently posting just some things LabCandy related. Later in the summer I hope to have a few more shirts in, as well as work on a new website and kind of tie in all our social media. I will try to post on here as to what I am doing. I’m also working on getting us in a few stores around town, and going to work on some new sewn in tags I think everyone will enjoy. So keep an eye out for some exciting things due over the summer.
It took a while to get these back from out photographer, and even longer for me to put them on the website. It was the best night of our life, check it out:
Finally the weather is warming up. I haven’t been keeping up with the website blog as much as I’d like to, but I am going to try and change that. If you just follow my website, I would suggest checking out my new Tumblr, or my Facebook and Twitter. I also just opened a Pinterest account, so check that out and re-pin all my cool stuff. I am working on a lot of things right now that I think will be awesome for LabCandy. I hope to add a little more maturity to the brand, but I still wanna keep doing the fun things I’ve been doing. Hopefully 2012 will be great, and I can create a lot more things this year!
Yesterday, I made it a point to get out and get some new winter cloths. So I drove down to the harbor, and hit the shops. After going to the mall, I realized I wanted some more unique clothing. The mall just seems so flooded with generic stuff these days.
This is the ginormous pirate ship kept in the Baltimore Harbor. Every time I see it, I want to round up 30 pirates and take it for a spin. Yargh.
Made my way over to this fantastic store, PedX (or Pedestrian). They sell all kinds of new street wear. There I met Garth, and we talked a bit about the ins and outs of running your own business, and getting started in the apparel industry. Its just such a flooded market, you have to stand out if you want to get your name out there. If you are in the Baltimore area, I suggest checking it out.
Earlier this week I got the chance to play in a flag football tournament on the field at M&T Bank Stadium. Although our team didn’t win, I did score my first and probably only touchdown on NFL soil. Scratch one off the ole’ bucket list.
